The Dragon's Tear Chronicle...
The story begins with "Chasing Shadows: Tales of East River" ... the story of Amy Cavanaugh, her family, her life in the small rural Connecticut town of East River, and the emergence of something she calls "Living Darkness". "Chasing Shadows" is also the story of Amy's grandmother, Colette Paul-Michelle, who is connected to the "Living Darkness" and may have unknowingly invited it to East River. "Chasing Shadows" is also the story of a town on a fine line between insanity and hope. A wonderful array of characters come face-to-face with their own inner demons and with the "Living Darkness" that spreads all throughout their lives and the town of East River.
"Chasing Shadows" also begins to tell the story of Colette Paul-Michelle's dark secret and the story of a very powerful item in her possession that can determine the fates of everyone around her. An item called "The Dragon's Tear".
The chronicle continues with "Dancing with the Moon", a powerfully emotional story that pits ancient evil against Colette Paul-Michelle's grand-daughter, Amy Cavanaugh. Seeking the "Dragon's Tear" and its power, an evil from Colette's secret life comes slithering into East River to take not only the "Dragon's Tear", but something far more precious- Amy Cavanaugh. Colette must seek help in an unlikely duo of gypsies, a mysterious loner named Moon, and a passionate wanderer named Tsigane to rescue Amy and put an end to Colette's mysterious hunter.
In "While the Wolves Cry", the "Dragon's Tear" attracts an even greater following- a clan known as the Dragul-Mirov. Claiming the ancient relic as their creation, the world is turned upside-down and mortal and immortal alike are pit against each other as mysterious powers collide in search of Colette, Amy, and their friends. Who could have foreseen such chaos stemming from the possession of a seemingly simple looking necklace? In "While the Wolves Cry", we learn that nothing is as it seems and nothing in life can be taken at face value. We learn more of the history behind Colette's dark secret and delve into the world of ancient powers and immortal horrors. We delve into the stories behind the masks.
- Coming soon though, I plan to polish and refine the next installment (Book Three) of the series, tentatively entitled, "The Dragons of Mirov".
